Tourism and the Wildlife Economy in Africa White Paper is an International Centre for Responsible Tourism global (ICRT global) White Paper that explores the role of tourism within the wildlife economy, highlighting the need to consider a broader concept of tourism, beyond purely non-consumptive tourism, as well including other income generating opportunities as key elements of the responsible tourism product, for example the production and consumption of game meat (from ranching, hunting or culling) and the utilisation of forest products such as local honey and coffee in tourism businesses.
