Ms Mame Diarra Sarr

Ms Mame Diarra Sarr is a Global Challenges student at the African Leadership University. Growing up in Senegal, she has always been passionate about solving issues in her natural environment and participating in community activities.

Seeing the consequences of anthropogenic activities on the environment and learning about its long-term effects if not stopped, she decided to focus her attention on Wildlife Conservation with a particular interest in flora.

That passion led Mame to intern with the African Wildlife Economy Institute to further her research on ways to drive value creation out of African wild plants and accelerate the achievement of sustainable development goals through the wildlife economy.
