Bio
Ms Beverley Wynne has worked on the retail side of the wild meat sector as an owner and manager of biltong shops in the Western Cape, South Africa. Over the years, her interests have broadened to include a focus on the harvesting of wild plants for food, beverage, and medicinal purposes.
Today working as a Medicinal Plant Therapist and Detox Specialist, Beverly is exploring health through natural solutions - intricately weaving the Earth's abundant bounty into holistic well-being practices.

Since becoming an AWEI associate, Beverly has brought in a greater understanding of the role and opportunities for wild plants in the wildlife economy. In 2025, She is supporting AWEI through strengthening engagement with businesses and business-related initiatives particularly with respect to the use of wild plants and fungi.
